Ronaldo and his Portugal team-mates entered the midweek game already sure of their place in the last-16 of Euro 2024, having already collected six points from their first two matches. Georgia, Turkey and the Czech Republic are all battling for a place in the next phase.
In the next round of the competition in Germany, Portugal will take on either the team that finished third in Group A — Hungary — or Slovenia, who finished third in Group C behind England and Denmark.
